The Theosophical Movement is part of the awakening of Occultism in the West, more generally an overall need to begin a study of occultism towards an elevating the Buddhi and Manas of humanity.

Two difficulties:

1. On the author’s side; H.P. Blavatsky’s mission was to write in English. Any such modern language is not adapted for teaching occultism.
2. On the student’s side; to reach the idea of the teacher behind the words, often foreign words from many traditions. The words were chosen in their best approximation by H.P.B. to convey the fundamental concepts as a basis of all traditions.
